Bane, Emily
Emily Habel Bane, 45 of Johns Island, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at home in the loving arms of her husband.
Born on November 5, 1976 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Mary Louise Harding Habel and William Joseph Habel.
Emily was a carefree spirit who was loved by all those she encountered. She was always up for adventure and brought fun and laughter with her wherever she went. After a long and successful career in the wine industry, Emily settled down to stay home with her two beautiful daughters and spend time cooking and drinking wine with her husband Cooper. She fought a long hard battle with cancer and while there were many ups and downs for her over the years, she was a fighter until the end.
Emily is preceded in death by her father William Joseph Habel.
Emily is survived by her spouse, Cooper Howard Bane, daughters, Luca Louise Bane and Willamina Grace Bane (Billie), mother, Mary Louise Harding Habel, siblings Sara Paynter Grieman, Andrew Joseph Habel, Amy Habel Koris and brothers-in-law Jackson Diehl Bane and William Bradford Bane and parents-in-law Carol Adele Bane and William Howard Bane.

This is such sad sad news. I was in a mommy group with Emily when we all first had our babies. Her bright smile, long beautiful blond hair, and generous heart was always a warm sight during those haggard days. She loved her babies tremendously.

I am so sorry to hear of Emily's passing. She was part of our new mommy's group when we all had our first babies years ago. She was a fun and loving mama. My heart is with her family during this time.
