Schaefer, Erwin J. 'Erv' age 78, entered into rest on Saturday, January 19, 2008. Beloved husband for 53 years to Barbara Jane Schaefer (nee Schumacher); dear father of Sharon (Kevin) McGuire, Diane (Bill) Mueller and Jill Scott; proud grandpa of Meggie, Jake, Stephen, Anna, Greg, Kristen and Kurt; dear brother of Arthur (Shirley) Schaefer; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Services: Funeral 10:00 AM Wednesday at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS (South County) 4830 Lemay Ferry Road. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the donation of your choice. VISITATION: Tuesday, 4 - 8 PM
