Florence Botkin

1937 - 2025

Florence Virginia (Turnbough) Botkin was born on February 13, 1937 in Huzzah, Missouri to Dewey and Thelma (nee Britton) Turnbough and passed away October 28, 2025 in Lake St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 88. Florence graduated from Beaumont High School with the class of 1954. She married Ronald Botkin on June 6, 1954 in Gulf Port, Mississippi.

Florence was the beloved wife of Ronald Botkin (deceased), loving mother of Steven (Valerie) Botkin, Janice (Kenneth) Niezwaag, Gerald 'Jerry' (Elaine) Botkin and the late Carl Botkin, dear grandmother of 9; Andrew (Alice), Nicholas, Brian (Ashley) Botkin, Curtis, Matthew (Chelsey) Niezwaag, Ashley (nee Botkin) Johnson, April Botkin, Bradley (Stephanie), Brianne (Alec) Botkin (Stipanovich/Ramsdell), and great-grandmother of 2, Bailey Johnson, Kendall Brand. Dear sister of Helen (nee Turnbough) Kemp, Mary (nee Turnbough) Curry, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Florence took great pride in caring for her family. She always made holidays special by hosting family gatherings. She was very close to her sisters, Helen & Mary, whom she was in contact with daily. Her extended family was very important to her as was her relationship with Jesus. She was a member of the Christview Christian Church, and supported church services at her independent living facility when not able to attend Christview.
