In loving memory of our friend and former employer, Forest Barton. Speaking for both Renea and I, you couldn't find a kinder or more compassionate person than Forest. So grateful for his gentle demeanor and his fatherly advice. It meant so much. Truly, Heaven rejoices at the homecoming of our beloved friend. May peace be with the family during this difficult time.

The Bible says "you will know them by their fruits." Forest bore Godly fruits in his life and they were exemplified by his family. Forest was a great man and my wife and I thought often of him, Janet & their family. Prayers for the family & to Forest, "we'll see you soon!"

I don’t know where to start. I can’t believe this man who was such a vital part of my life is gone. He was so full of life and loved it to the fullest! He taught me so much. Not only about insurance, (as I worked for him for over 16 years) , but about how to enjoy your job and how to treat people with respect. We had so many good times. We had Ted Drew’s runs, Amighetti lunches Guiseppi lunches on Grand ave. And so many more good times. He loved his family. He adored Mrs. B and was so proud of both of his children and them his grandkids. My prayers are with his family in hoping you find comfort in having had such a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. I was blessed to have him as a boss who I considered more like a second dad. I’m so sorry I won’t be able to be at the service tonight as I will be out of town but know you will be in my thoughts and prayers as you have been since I heard my dear friend was gone. May God bless you all and carry you through this difficult time.

Forest was more than my employer and insurance agent for the 22 years that I worked for him; I came to know him as a real friend. I don't think he ever met a stranger, and he touched so many lives. I will always remember how he touched my life, and all the good advice he gave me. I'm sorry for his family's loss, and all of our loss who knew and loved him, but I know he's in a great place of peace and perfect health and the Presence of God and the angels now.
