Dear Mary Grace and Cusumano clan,
My heartfelt condolences to you all. I am so blessed to have known Frank and your family while Frank lived with us here at Sunrise. I remember our dances, and the endless exchanges of broken Italian (at least mine was broken!) I always looked forward to chatting during lunch. I'll miss the smiles Frank brought to us everyday, but certain he is looking down with infinite gladness now. God Bless!

My favorite memory of Frank is when my three favorite guys at Sunrise dined together: my Dad - Monte Lopata, Hyman Eisenberg, and Frank. I joined them one night for dinner, and engaged all of them in a lively conversation about (of all things) facial hair. I asked each one of them if they had ever grown a mustache or beard, how their wives felt about it, etc. We all laughed together as each recalled their experiences with facial hair!
Frank's a great guy and will remain so forever. I send heartfelt condolences to the entire family.

To The Cusumano Family:
Your loss is felt by many. It was an HONOR and a Privelage to know Big Frank. He never had a cross word to say, and always put a smile on my face. He was an honorable man, with integrity, dignity, and most of all WISDOM. He will be truly missed and thought of often. My heart goes out to you, and my prayer is that your time of grief and sorrow be overshadowed by all the wonderful memories of his time w/you. God Bless.

To all the Cusumanos,
I will always remember growing up at Pillar and seeing your mom and dad at church and running with Frankie and Kevin Ruzicka when girls were allowed. I know how much you will miss him as I do miss my mom & dad, Joann & Doc Harvey, every day.
My condolences to each of you and especially to you, Mrs. Cusumano. You have lost a wonderful husband but remain behind well loved by each of your children, I'm sure.
Take care of each other and know that there are lots of long-time friends who are praying for you and wish you peace.

Fondly,
Sarah Harvey

I have many fine memories of the Kemoll and Cusumano family at the old restaurant at Grand and Penrose. Frank always kept a watchful eye as I took a break from the daily grind of policing the old neighborhood. Mary Grace, Mark, Doug, Mary Ellen and the rest of the family, please know that my prayers are with you as you adjust to this huge loss. Heaven has opened its gates wide for Frank and he is gone for just a while as he waits for us to join him singing and working side by side with God's angels. May God Bless you all with his grace and peacefull understanding!

One of my fondest memories of Mr. C is the way he told funny stories at the Chaminade Father-Son Banquets and how hard everyone laughed.

I remember him as both a gentleman and a gentle man. The world will be a lesser place without him.

Frank,
You believed and trusted in me even though I was young. You allowed me to bring my daughter to work with me everyday for the first couple years of her life. Not many employers would allow an employee to do that. I will miss you! You have a very special place in my heart! My thoughts and prayers go out to Mary Grace and all of the children and grandchildren. May your memories of him only be as fond as mine! God Bless You Frank!

There are no words that can express this loss of such a wonderful, generous man. I had the pleasure of being employed by Frank, Mark, and Family. I have a very fond memory of Frank sitting down to dinner with myself and my Grandparents, Nate & Midge Colletta talking about "the old country" and our Heritage. Our Family holds your Family very dear in our hearts and our prayers. God Bless You all. He will always be with all that He loved, and the lives that he touched so gracefully.

Uncle Frank was kind enough to be my Confirmation Father at Pillar Parish.

He used to take Doug and I to the St. Louis Hawks basketball game years ago and then back to the old Kemol's on Grand to run around - Some special times those were indeed.

After he retired I would run into him from time to time down at the Soulard Market - he was just kind of wandering around not really doing anything specific and I used to walk along with him and you know what? They ALL knew him - All the vendors- "Hey Franko" "Frankie Boy" "How Ya Doing Pal"? They were sincerely glad to see him, his beaming grin and well wishes.

A guy gets touched by very few people in a lifetime and Uncle Frank is one that truly made me a better man through our acquaintance.

Frank was a gentleman and a professional in the food service industry. A true leader was lost this day. Will never forget the smirk he gave you when he agreed with you.

My blessings are with the family, he will be missed in your hearts for all time.
