Beloved husband for 50 wonderful years to Jeanne Garner (nee McCarthy); loving father of Tom Garner, Kippy (Allan) DiRie, Judy (Mark) Colvin and the late Terri Garner; dear grandfather of Christopher, Kelly and Abby DiRie and Claire and Jack Colvin; dear son of the late Cecil Ray and Verlie Mae Garner; dear brother of Jerry (Helen) Garner, Sonia (John) Schmierbach, and the late Leon Garner, Ruth (Gene) Carroll, Harold (Adele) Garner, Margaret (Gene) Bath and Wallace 'Shug' Garner; dear brother-in-law of Rosemary and Merle Garner; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle and friend of many.Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Thurs., June 15, 9:30 a.m. to St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Mr. Garner worked for Monsanto Queeny Plant for 38 years and retired in 1991. He was past president of Monsanto Company Local 16, Retirees Club. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the David C. Pratt Cancer Center at St. John's Mercy Medical Center would be appreciated. The family would like to offer a special thank you to Dr. B.
