Ratermann, George August
Fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church Thursday, November 2, 2023. Beloved husband of 54 years to Jo Ann Ratermann; loving father of Jill (Nick) Pace and Tim (Kristen) Ratermann; dear grandfather of Sydney, Mia, and Georgia; dearest brother of Mary Schaub, Charles, Martha Baer, Margie Holtgrave, Clara Schuerman, and the late John and William Ratermann; dear Godfather, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Services: Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd., Thursday, November 9th, 4-8 p.m. A precession will leave Kutis Friday, November 10th, 9 a.m. for 9:30 a.m. Graveside Service at Jefferson Barracks. A Memorial Mass will follow at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Backstoppers or masses, preferred.

George was well respected in the St Louis Police Department and by the police veterans. He played an extremely important role in getting benefits for his fellow officers. He will be sincerely missed.
