Georgey Killgore Herron, 54, passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2026, leaving an immeasurable loss for all who knew and loved her.

To know Georgey was to feel welcomed, uplifted, and truly seen. While her circle of friends was close-knit, her loyalty to them was boundless, and those friendships were marked by deep connection, trust, and joy. She loved to laugh and her quick wit was infectious as she was effortlessly smart, funny and kind.

Above all else, Georgey was a devoted mother. Her greatest pride and deepest joy were her children, Spencer and George. She was a constant and passionate presence in their lives-on the sidelines of field hockey, ice hockey, and lacrosse games, in the stands, and at every school event. Her children were truly the center of her world.

Georgey shared a loving 26-year marriage with her husband, Craig. She is also adoringly remembered with love by her mother, Adele Dilschneider; her brother, John Killgore; and her step-siblings, Rebecca Dilschneider Schloegl, Joe Dilschneider, and Clare Dilschneider Sandler, along with nieces and nephews who were an important part of her life.

Georgey brought energy and enthusiasm to everything she loved. She was an accomplished tennis player with a deep fondness for the US Open and embraced racquet sports with both skill and joy. A devoted St. Louis Blues fan and longtime season ticket holder, she treasured the experience of attending Game 7 of the 2019 Stanley Cup Finals with her family-a moment that perfectly reflected her love of sports, celebration, and togetherness.

Since childhood, she enjoyed spending summers in Charlevoix, MI with family and friends.

Whether on the court, in the stands, or simply spending time with those she loved, Georgey lived fully and gave generously of herself. Her presence made life brighter, lighter, and more joyful.

A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 110 N. Warson Road, St. Louis, Missouri, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026. A private burial will take place in Charlevoix, Michigan, at a later date.
