Gerald "Gerry" Gerome Gasper, 86, passed away on November 23, 2025. Born November 6, 1939, in Oklahoma City, Gerry was a quiet man devoted to his family. He is survived by his children Tracey Hubbard, Michael (Maria) Gasper, Chad Gasper, Jennifer (Jon) Henry, and Justin (Emily) Gasper; grandchildren Emmett and Eleanor Henry and Alice, Zachary, and Benji Gasper; siblings Robert (Ann) Gasper, Clark (Nancy) Gasper, and Christine (Bron) Coussens; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet (nee Scherrer), his sister Gayle Eckroat, and his parents Gerald and Lois Gasper.

A proud veteran, Gerry served in the Oklahoma National Guard and the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division. He went on to build a career with Western Union, which spanned 44 years. He loved Sooners football, golf, cooking, and mornings spent bird-watching. Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church–Cottleville on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 10:00–11:00 a.m., with Mass to follow.
