Geraldine Dunbar Obituary

Dunbar, Geraldine J. (nee Gossmann), 90, Festus, MO formerly of St. Louis died Feb. 3, 2007 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was born April 13, 1916 in Perry County, Illinois the daughter of the late Charles and Mamie Gossmann. She was a homemaker and member of Salvador E&R Church, most recently Freiden's Chapel U.C.C. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband John P. Dunbar. She is survived by one daugh-ter, Darlene M. (Raymond) Lah-mann of St. Louis; one son, Gary G. (Cecilia) Dunbar and their child, Christian G. Dunbar of Festus; other grandchildren, Elizabeth (John) Rush, their chil-dren, Julian and Evan, Jonathan (Amy) Dunbar, their children, Caleb and Erica; and her sister, Helen M. Hertel of Tamaroa, Illi-nois.Services: Funeral services were held at STYGAR Funeral Home in Florissant, MO and officiated by the Rev. Donna Pupillo. Burial was Feb. 6, 2007 at Laurel Hill Cemetery, St. Louis. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes As-sociation. www.sty gar.com.
