Gordon Oppelt Obituary
December 8, 1942 - August 21, 2025
Gordon James Oppelt Jr. of St. Louis, MO passed away on August 21, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Amelia, three loving children, Charles, Peter, and Elizabeth, two daughter-in-laws, Erin and Linda, and five grandchildren, Anna, Maggie, Isaac, Ethan, and Owen. His family was always his greatest source of joy, especially those grandchildren. He was able to provide for them through years of employment at Anheuser-Busch and entertained them with tales of his military service in the navy.
Services will be on September 19th, 2025 at 10:00AM at St. John Paul II Church, formerly St. George. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Backstoppers (backstoppers.org).
