Haupt, Gregory John
Greg Haupt passed on April 5, 2022, at age 40 after a heroic battle with cancer. Greg is remembered as an incredible father, husband, and friend. Greg spread joy with his boundless humor, creativity, and optimism. He inspired those around him through his musical endeavors, his drive to keep learning, and his genuine kindness toward all. As an exceptionally talented musician and song writer, Greg was a key member of The O.F.R., Disturbing The Peace, Princeton, Story Of The Year, and Feel Good Inc. He loved both his time writing songs and performing on stage as well as bringing people together to dance and sing. Greg improved our community as a small business owner who truly cared about delighting others through his work. He loved nothing more than exploring and playing with his wife and their three children, whom he adored completely. Though his time was far too short, Greg is envied for the richness of the life he lived, and he lives on as a legend in the hearts of the many thousands he made smile. Greg is survived by his wife Megan (nee Brady); his children Henry, Max, and Jane; his mom Kathleen Callanan; his dad Paul Haupt, and stepmom Nancy Haupt; his brothers Robbie Haupt and Mike Haupt; his stepbrother Marc (Dewi) Zornes and stepsister Robin (Andrew) Anderson; his family at Rotolite of St. Louis and The Done Department; and countless friends and neighbors. Greg's Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 1, at Red Flag, 3040 Locust Street, St. Louis, Missouri, 63103, from 12 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Greg Haupt Mosaic page on the American Cancer Society website.
