Greg, after all these years, I just want you to know, that I still think about you and tell people about how wonderful of a person you were. I think about you every day and miss you more than I could possibly explain. I love you and look forward to hopefully seeing you in the next level. I will never forget. Come by and say hello or just check on me once in a while.

Greg, I just wanted to give you one last thanks from our family for Mary and Paul's stay with us at our house these last few weeks during a very difficult time. I know in my heart that this was your way of us all getting together. Keep watch on your son, Paul. He will forever think the world of you!

After 23 days, it still hurts so bad knowing that we can't talk and laugh together, Greggie. I rocked you to sleep many nights and changed lots of diapers when you were little, but we grew up together, you , Mike, Miczi, and me. I always loved you very much and I always will. If not for you, I wouldn't have met Harold, Thank You Very Much dear brother. May God watch over you until we are together again. I Love You,
Your big sister, Vi

I still remember the first time I met Greg! Almost a year later I saw him again and he remembered my name perfectly! I was amaized that he did. He was very smart person. Somebody who makes your day, somebody who you are looking forward to see again!!!! He helped me a lot during the semester. He became my favorite tutor ( and i have had a lot of tutors) and my dear friend. Greg was a great person, wonderful family guy and the best teacher any student can wish for!!!! I WILL MISS HIM SO MUCH!!!! I dont think i will be able to go the Market place anymore...without a great warm smile of Greg, that place is just a grey reminder of that awesome man!!!!!! Pokoisya s mirom.....

It has been two weeks and already I see signs that you are giving to my sister, your beloved wife, Mary, everyday. For this is the reason I picked the poem below for you.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Greg was not only an outstanding math tutor he was a great person. His enthusiasm and hunger for knowledge came through when he taught and inspired many students. I looked forward to seeing him at my tutoring appointments because he was able to clear up confusion along with making me laugh and giving great "life" advice. I know I am not the only person who felt this way at SLU. He was known as the science/math tutor to go to on SLU's campus for a reason. He was a great person, friend, and teacher. The world has suffered a great loss with his passing. My prayers are with his family, who I know from casual conversation he loved dearly. God Bless.

Mr. Lapusan was one of the kindest people I've met at SLU. He was such a wonderful and gentle person. Not only did he make my days woking at the Tutoring Center a lot easier with his help, I also really appreciated his caring for other tutors and tutees... It was my honor getting to know such a wonderful person. May God bless him and his family. All the best.

I'm happy to have met Mr. Lapusan while I worked for the tutoring center. He was always there to help when I needed anything. Everyone he tutored had a bond to him and enjoyed coming. I had the privilege to spend some evenings alone with him when there were no students to be tutored. I talked with him about everything. He was more than just a fellow coworker, he was a friend. I wish I could have shared more with him. He will be missed. My condolences to the family, especially Paul who I have the pleasure of knowing as well. I'm here for you, contact me if you need anything. "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Phil 4:7) God Bless.

First of all, I am very regret for passing of Greg. Greg was one of the best tutor/person I have met in my life. Indeed he is the best tutor I have met when I first started college. I am honored to have met Greg and was able to learn from him. Greg is a truly well-rounded, intelligent, warm-hearted, and kind person... I have been his student for merely more than two semesters, and he taught me not only Math, but anything. He could explain almost anything I asked about in a very educative and expert manner. Besides, Greg was really good at what he was doing, in fact more than that, and he was very patience and enjoying to work with the students. Even though I have only been able to work with him for such a short period of time, I do respect and honor him both personally and as a tutor. My warmest prayer and condolence are always with him and his family.

Something has happened that we thought never would and it's moments with Greg that we will sadly miss. Greg was more than a brother in-law; he was a brother to me, a friend to Kevin and an uncle and godfather to Brittany.
We will remember:
the road trips to Florida; the sounds of his music; helping Brittany in her math/science classes; and his love for Mary, Sara and Paul.
Greg is surrounded by God's grace and will watch over his family throughout the night and day.
We will never forget you Greg; you are forever in our hearts.

Greg was one of the most inspiring tutors I've ever met in my life. And he was so good at what he did. I always anticipated on having him whenever I would sign up for tutoring. No matter what, he always encouraged me and had faith in me. He was a very caring and warm hearted person who made you feel welcomed in his prescence. He will truly be missed. The family is continuely in my prayers. May God Bless.

Greg was like a brother to me, he was always so caring and happy. I had so many good years with him and my sister Mary. They both did so much for my boys and I will never ever forget it. MY boys and I went on a couple of their family trips to Florida, and we had an awesome time. We have some very good memories of him and will cherish them forever. We will truly miss you Greg and thanks so much for everything you did for me and my boys.

I remember Greg when he was little
and the last time I saw him he was a teenager living with his dad. I used to hang around Miczi for years
and I lost contact with everybody. It saddens me to know he has passed away. My prayers are with the family,

I'll never forget you Greg. You were an important part of my teenage years, and have never beeen far from my thoughts. I have never met anyone as witty or as talented as you. I'm sorry you, Ken and I will never be together again. Those were some of the best times I've ever had.

When I introduced Greg to our students in the McNair summer research program, his name was hardly out of my mouth before one of the scholars, overflowing with enthusiasm, announced, "You all are so very lucky! Mr. Lapusan is the best math tutor ever in the world!" I didn't have to say anything else. Over the years, I've been privileged to see him working with students on their math or heard him talking with them in the halls, always with patience, understanding, and compassion and with a genuine interest in their learning. He set an excellent example for us all which will not be forgotten. We have been greatly honored by his having been among us, and deeply saddened by his untimely leaving. With sincerest sympathy,

Greg was a good friend of my friend Richard. Greg helped tutor me when I was taking Algebra at Harris-Stowe. During our sessions, his patience, understanding and support showed the true character of this wonderful, sweet man. He will be missed by his many friends.
