Orenstein, Herbert S. 87, of Skokie, IL and formerly of St. Louis, MO, beloved husband and best friend for 49 wonderful years of Beverly, nee Steinberg; devoted son of the late Max and Rose; dear brother of the late Irene Karpf, Florence Green, Julian and Willard Orenstein; treasured uncle and friend of many. Services: Private family services have been held. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 820 Davis Street, Suite 400, Evanston, IL 60201 or the charity of your choice. Beverly just found out about Herb. We are so sorry for your loss. We will fondly remember all the time we spent with the two of you, especially how Herb went out of his way to pick us up on many occasions.
