Ivan Myers

1936 - 2023

Ivan Myers, 87, of Chesterfield, MO, passed away on September 10, 2023. Ivan was one of the most empathetic, caring, and loving people to walk the earth. He was always there for family, friends, coworkers, and patients for whatever they needed. His diligent work ethic allowed him to always get the job done, even if it meant he had to put himself second. Ivan was truly the most selfless father and husband. He also had a goofy side and knew how to make people smile, even if it meant being a little inappropriate at times.

Ivan is survived by his wife, Lee Ann Machesky Myers, his daughters Linda Myers, Lillian Myers, and Genevieve Nichols, his granddaughter Ivy Nichols, and his sister Dixie Scott. He was preceded in death by his father Willard Ivan Myers, his mother Florence Genevieve Talley Myers, and his daughter Julie Ann Myers.

After graduating from Malden High School, Ivan went on to attend Mizzou Medical School, where he pursued his dream of becoming an Obstetrician-Gynecologist. Ivan also proudly served in the United States Air Force for three years during the Vietnam War.

In his free time, Ivan enjoyed playing tennis, scuba diving, and golf. But above all, he cherished being a family man.

A memorial service to celebrate Ivan's life will be held at 2267 Riverwood Trails Drive, Florissant, MO 63031, from 11 AM to 2 PM. Light refreshments will be served.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and Stray Rescue of St. Louis.
