We only met Jake one time at the Friends of Kids with Cancer Fashion Show last fall, but his smile and charm on the runway left an impression on us that will remain in our memories forever. Our memories of Jacob: the very cute chubby faced boy in pre-school, the happy, full of good cheer, boy who later came to our subdivision and Seckman Elem. I shall never forget how Bill and Stephanie were giggling when video taping the sack race at his first field day there. . . Sledding on the dam, Halloween with no fear of anything. I had the pleasure of coaching Jacob his first couple of years in baseball.The thing I remembered most about Jacob wasn't how he hit or fielded or threw a baseball. It was his smile that I will always remember.When he was attending Simpson, I would drop off my son Andrew in school and Jacob would come up to me and give me a hug and say "Hi Coach". The angels in heaven are sure lucky to have such a wonderful young man.
