To Jim's family, I am deeply saddened to learn of Jim's passing amd extend my condolences to you.

Jim and I went to Flynn Park School together, and we were very close friends during those years. On many occasions I stopped to play at the Joslyn residence on Waterman during my walk home from school; likewise, Jimmy was a guest at my home many times over those years. Mrs. Joslyn was always so welcoming when we were there.

As often happens, later years saw us go separate ways, what with education, family, and jobs, but in the '70's Jim worked at the Mister Guy store then on Forsyth, directly across from the Pierre Laclede Center where I practiced law, and most of my wardrobe was bought under the close eye of Jim Joslyn. Later, much the same when the store moved.

Early friendships often tend to live forever, and it was always good to see Jim in later uesrs when we'd run into one another. While not close in later years, we were always friends, and he is remembered as such.

Always keep the memory of Jim and what he gave each of us in our hearts and minds.
