Jason Skeeters Obituary

Skeeters, Jason Arnold was born July 7, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away June 14, 2012 in Salem, Missouri at the age of 70 years. On December 28, 1961 Jason Arnold Skeeters was united in marriage to Jerri Lee Toomey and to this union four children were born. Jason enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues Fan, but his greatest enjoyment was his farm and spending time with his grandchildren. He served as a paratrooper in United States Army. Preceding him in death were his parents Arnold and Ula (Flett) Skeeters; and wife, Jerri Lee Skeeters. Survivors include his children, Julie Sutter and husband, Marvin, Ballwin; Jennifer Skeeters, Wildwood; Joseph Skeeters and wife, Juliana, Denver, Colorado; Jill Walther and husband, Mike, Salem; grandchildren, Bryan Skeeters, Jon Svoboda, Jacob and Matthew Walther, Dmitriy Balaban, Sarah and Thomas Skeeters. Jason was a loving, father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Services: Funeral service for Jason Skeeters will be held Monday, June 18, 2012 at the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will Monday from 11:00 A.M. until service time. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society for Research or the Joy of Caring Cancer Fund. Arrangements under the direction of Wilson Mortuary, Salem.
