I hope the day will come when people can think of Jeff with a big smile instead of tears running down their cheeks. Known the guy, his brother and mom from years ago when we had good times at The Tampa Tribune. Enjoyed his romance and marriage to Cindy, loved their fun wedding in SL and then many single days when he would come south to the beach with the kids. Glad we got in a few visits to St. Louis. He was gifted in so many ways. Sending Prayers. Thinking about the family´s loss.

Jeff, was a loving and passionate man. His greatest loves were his son, Jake, and daughter, Claire, and grandson, Bodhi, and Jake and Claire's spouses. A talented journalist and musician. A kind and effective man. After a stroke and other infirmities landed him in a wheelchair he managed to found St. Louis Musicians for People with Disabilities. A group that raised money for those with disabilities and held a "Hootenanny " At which among others a young woman who was blind and autistic sang like an angel. And a young man with disabilities showed off his chops as a photographer. And Jeff had a world class smile.
