I give my condolences to all of Jim's family and friends. I've known Jim since 1996 and he will be missed greatly. My father had an auto shop and Jim did all of the machine work. That's how my family got to know him. He was always happy when we spoke and he showed great kindness towards me. He was one of the greatest men I have ever known. RIP.

Very sad to hear of Jim's passing.
I met him when he first bought the machine shop near Easton Avenue about 40 years ago. I always visited him on my trips back to STL.
My condolences to his family.
He was one of the best!

Jim was a remarkable person with a keen sense of humor. In addition to his humor, he was also a gifted writer, but few people knew that hidden talent.
He helped many people with his skills as a machinist and knowledge of cars. It will be hard to find a man of his quality.
Lastly, he was loyal and generous to his family and friends.
