We too seldom in this life are blessed with the friendship of a genuine Renaissance Man: One who possesses that unique fusion of innumerable passions, depth of knowledge, boundless enthusiasm and unquenchable curiosity. Jim, the Eclipse will be a bit less spectacular without you.

Jim was one of the really good guys and, he will be sorely missed. He and I were stationed together at Goodfellow AFB in 1959. He was my best man at my wedding to my wife of 57 years, Glynda. We both were then sent to Homestead AFB. Jim and I remained in touch over the years telephonicly to keep up with what was going on in each other's lives. Glynda and I will miss him a lot and we send our condolences to his entire family.
