Charles P. Guariglia

Guariglia, Charles P. passed away on August 8, 2017 at the age of 89. He was the beloved husband of Marie Guariglia (nee Verstraete) of Chesterfield, Missouri; He is survived by his daughter, Jeanne (Ron) Rolwing; three sons, Wayne (Donna) Guariglia, Daniel (Shelly) Guariglia, Dale (Julie) Guariglia; two brothers, Ron (Carolyn) Guariglia of Peoria, IL, Don (Diane) Guariglia of Kansas City, MO; eleven granddaughters, Saraya Guariglia, Carrie (Timothy) Morgan, Briana (Ryan) Shernaman, Bethany (Matt) Guier, Mary Lara (Jeffery) Harris, Haley Guariglia, Anna (Andrew) Kenney, Martha Guariglia, Isabel Guariglia, Lindsey Spencer, Sarah Spencer; three grandsons, David (Anna) Rolwing, Charles Guariglia, Henry Guariglia; eight great-granddaughters, Adrianna, Abigail, Aliya, Natalie, Lucca, Maisy, Lily, Ella; six great-grandsons, Elliott, Ryan, Owen, Ethan, Louis and Roman. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Carl Guariglia, mother, Adelaide Guariglia (nee Buerk), sister, Adelaide Marie. Charles married Marie in 1950 and enjoyed 67 years together. He worked for 45 years for the Bank Building Corp.; being one of the few people who was licensed as a architect in all 50 states. He was a member of (AIA) American Institute Architects. Charles designed the Archdiocese of St. Louis Chancery Building. He was an avid baseball fan, enjoyed golfing and traveling. Charles was a true family man, with a great sense of humor and will be dearly missed by family and all who knew him. Services: Visitation Saturday August 12, 2017, 9:30am until time of Funeral Service, 10:30 am at Ascension Parish, Chesterfield, MO. Interment: Resurrection Cemetery St. Louis.
