I'm so sorry to learn of Joan's death. She was a great friend and was always there when I needed her. We went to school together and even left our hometown and moved to the big city together. We lost touch with each other over the years but I thought of her often. I will always smile when I think of her.

Dear Dan and Family,
It was my pleasure to have Joan as a friend and colleague over our many years of working in the field and CSC together. Joan always had a way with expressing herself and always made you laugh. She just was one of those bright smiling people that you loved being around. She was always talking about her kids, grandkids, and Dan to her trips... Joan enjoyed it all. She was so proud of you all! I pray that God holds you all close during this great loss. All my prayers.

I am saddened to hear of my friends death.
I went to school with Jean and Joan in Fredericktown, Mo. Jean even tried to teach me how to drive. Something she and I will never forget. I have many memories of spending the night at their house and we each had our own covers. Sorry I have not kept in touch. From reading the comments in the guest book she was still fun to be around. I miss the old times.

I am so sorry to hear about our loss. I worked with Joan for many years. We use to car pool together and took ceramic classes and went on bus trips with the group a few times. I will miss her a lot. She always had good stories to tell and a wondeful sense of humor. My prayers and thoughts go to the family in this time of sorrow.

We were very sorry to hear of our loss. We have recalled many memories of Joan during our time at CSC, from both large and small staff meetings to personal interactons. I can not hear about any 'system update' without thinking of Joan and her many hours of 'testing'. She was a good friend and wonderful 'workflow' during my time in BAB/PAS. I will also miss her telling of her family shopping trips and of course her tirps to Cancun. Our prayers are with you.

To all of Joans family and friends,
I am so sad there will be no more lunches with Joan. She always made any situation funny, no matter how bad/sad! Even as late as last week she was cracking me up. She also knew how to fix almost anything or could steer me in the right direction. I worked with her at CSC and remained friends. Missing her from the moment I heard and thinking of each of you!

I'm so sorry to learn of Joan's death, I too worked with Joan at USDA. Joan was a riot, you never knew what to expect. I know how much she loved her family especially her grandchildren she was always telling me about their latest antics. I know that Joan is up there giving the Lord an earful about not being able to make the next trip to Mexico. She was such a wonderful person. I know she will be missed.
