Meacham, Joanne

Joanne (Jo) Meacham peacefully passed away this week. Loving wife to Bill, mother to Aimee (Rob) and Joseph, sister to Jeanne (Don), Russ, Janet (Jerry), and Jackie (Jerry), sister-in-law to Alan (Lorraine), aunt, auntie, bonus grandma, and dog mom (Trinity and Rosie). Over her 85 years, Jo held many positions from stay-at-home mom, Girl Scout leader, PTA president, Rescued Racers volunteer, Craig School secretary, YMCA swim instructor, parishioner to Autumn View Gardens BINGO caller. Jo was the life of the party bringing fun, sparking laughter, and building friendships everywhere she went. Wear bright colors to the Celebration of Life service Thurs., June 26, 11 a.m., Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 1485 Craig Rd., 63146. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Louis Community Foundation Tornado Response Fund https://stl.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund?funit_id=7600.

Joanne was a wonderful person, helper, friend and the kindest neighbor you could ask for! She was loved, and will be missed.

I am sorry that I missed the celebration of Joanne's life. She had a wonderful attitude and was always up for a good laugh and a shoulder for crying. While Joann and I have drifted apart, she lives in my heart.
