Baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection on Sun., April 27, 2025. Beloved husband of Lynne Husmann (nee (Voellinger); loving father and father-in-law of John Jr. "Jack" (Sydney), Jimmy, Caroline and Danny Husmann; dear brother of Peggy (Dan Gibson) Husmann and the late Steve Husmann; dear uncle of Abby and Kate Dolan, Lauren (Daniel) Heriaiz and Will, Kent and Tommy (Cynthia) Wittmann; dear brother-in-law of Lisa (Shawn) Dolan and Laura (Todd) Youngs; dear cousin and friend to many.
Visitation at the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur on Thur., May 8 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Mass at Incarnate Word Church, 13416 Olive Blvd, Chesterfield on Fri., May 9 at 10 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to De Smet Jesuit High School appreciated. See funeral home website for full obituary.

I'm going to miss our daily but brief conversations at Panera. Wish I could have been able to sit down and have a longer conversation with a true man of God. Your faith was equally matched with your kindness and I'm grateful to have known you. Thank you for always making the day better with your kind words and wisdom.

My Thoughts and prayers are with you all in the Husmann family! I´m thinking about all the fun times we had in the basement and the many conversations I would have with John. It was a blessing to be around the wonderful family he raised from Incarnate Word to Xavier and every step in between. I´m sad I´m not in town to see you all in person but you´re in my thoughts and prayers!
