John was one of the best people I've ever known. His dry wit and devilish sense of humor just made you smile and like him even more. His sister Peggy (my mom) always lovingly referred to John as "Peck's bad boy", to me he was uncle Spanky and to him I was always Powerful Katrinka. "Uncle" Ron (John's brother-in-law) and I are going to miss John like crazy, but always remember the great man he was.

John was a lifelong friend, Godfather to my son, and a true Irish gentleman. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him!

I worked with John for many years at MSD. He always made me laugh-out-loud with his humor. My sympathies to his family. He will be missed.
