Beloved husband of Jayne Schmitt (nee Unger) and dear father of Christopher and Andrew Schmitt and Heidi Contrera. Visitation will be held at Incarnate Word Church on Wed., Nov. 5 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass at 10:30 am. Cemetery Service with Military Honors will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Thurs. Nov. 6 at 9:00 a.m. Funeral procession will leave from Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, at 8:30 a.m. See funeral home website for more details, www.osfuneralhomes.com.
