I was very saddened indeed to hear about my cousin John's passing. I didnt even know he was ill. I have many, many memories growing up in this family and I cherish all of them. John was always so nice to me and my family....always a smile on his face and made me laugh. My prayers go out to Mary and the family....I always have the comfort in knowing that although our loves ones who pass will be missed, I believe we will see them again, one day. Rest in Peace John.

Mary

I was saddened to hear of John's passing. You and he worked so hard to give life to Lucia's Pizza. It was great to watch your success.

When I page back through the stories of my life I always remember when I repaired John's dough mixer on Lin Ferry and he paid me in pizzas. My children still remember that too!

He is with Mama Lucia now and I'll bet they are making a heck of a pizza!

Mary, I am very saddened to hear of John's passing. Though I had never met John, I cannot help but think somehow he is a distant relation to me. I know my Grandfather Guiseppe Tumminello, born 10/27/1893, had family in the south and in looking at the posted picture of John, the resemblence to my father and myself is uncanny. Again, my sincerest condolences. Joseph E. Tuminello, Taneytown, MD.

I never knew John Tumminello but had the pleasure of working with his daughter in law Gail as she was a former teacher of mine back in 1982-1984 time frame at Westridge Elementary. Peace be with all.

I had the pleasure of meeting John and Lucia back in the 80's, when Mama Lucias Pizza first started getting BIG! I remember John very graciously giving me a tour of the plant, and I even got to meet and chat it up with the real Mama Lucia! I only met John a few times, and yet I have fond memories of our business meetings. I can only imagine the vast memories of his family and friends. May you all be comforted in your grief, and may God bless you all with happy thoughts and memories of John.
