Julia Triplett Obituary
Born Julia Hauter in Washington, Iowa, she is predeceased by her husband of over sixty years, George Triplett, and her son, James Triplett (Pam). She leaves behind her daughter, Pam Triplett (Ken Denson), grandson Eric Denson (Eleanore Estelle), grandson Drake Triplett, and many loving family and friends.
Julie was a lifetime educator and director of the educational service center in Rantoul, Illinois. She spent many years in the American Association of University Women (AAUW) and served as local chapter president and state board president. Julie and George were devoted West County Democrat. When not organizing, she enjoyed numerous book clubs and church activities. Julie adored the opera, symphony, and the Saint Louis Cardinals. Julie and George Triplett were founding members of Eliot Unitarian Universalist Chapel in Kirkwood, Missouri.
We celebrate her life on April 18th, 2026 at Eliot Chapel in Kirkwood, Missouri. Service begins at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Opera Theater of Saint Louis or the Saint Louis Symphony.
