Katherine Fimmano Obituary
Born on October 3, 1956, Kathy devoted more than four decades to shaping young lives as a preschool teacher. Her gentle spirit, unwavering dedication to education, and deep love for her family were the hallmarks of a life lived with compassion and purpose.
Kathy's life was rich with passions; she cherished her dogs, found solace in gardening, and enjoyed needlepoint. Her happiest moments were spent by a pool or on a beach, basking in the sun and the company of loved ones.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Rhett Gallagher and son-in-law Kevin, her cherished niece Rae Koopman Seithel and husband Dave, her treasured grandson Rory Gallagher, and brother Chris Kleykamp. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Elmer "Jack" Kleykamp, her sister Eileen Koopman, and brother-in-law Gary Koopman.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on November 14, 2025, at the Brentwood Forest Club House, 9000 Wrenwood Lane, Brentwood, MO 63144. The gathering will begin at 4:00 PM, with special toasts planned for 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the Animal Protective Association of Missouri at apamo.org.
Kathy's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
