Well it has been almost two months since God called you home. I will always remember the chubby cheek girl saying Hi Tae! Even though I didnt get to see you as you got older but I always knew what was going on with you. To my friends Lashaun & Terry, I am here as always and just know she is an Angel above. To the boys, your big sister lives in your heart and no one can take that from you. Keep your heads up and just know she is at peace right now, even though the way she has left us was horrible, God has her now and no one can hurt her anymore. Love u all

Dear Ki, I am crushed,to hear that you have gone home early. The short year we were together,I grew to love you so much! You were leader on our bus. You touched so many lives! I looked forward to picking you up everyday. I tried to hide the disappointment, when you caught another ride. Your spirit will live on,in not only your class, but many others, as well.It will do us all good to pray the Lord's prayer. God be with you and your family, I love you Kianna, Nucchi, bus# 90, "2004-05".

To the friends and family of kianna:
I use to work with kianna at safeway and when I heard the news today I was shocked. Since she did not work there for very long I missed out on getting to know a great person. With the short amount of time that I did work with Kianna I thought she was sweet and seemed like a fun person. About two years ago I also lost a friend at 17. I know what it is like and it will never stop hurting but we need to know that she is in a better place now and is safe with God.

A Child Loaned
"I'll lend you for a little time
A child of Mine." He said.
"For you to love the while she lives
And mourn for when she's dead.
It may be six or seven year
Or twenty-two or three
But will you, till I call him back
Take care of her for Me?
She'll bring her charms to gladden you
And should her stay be brief,
You'll have his lovely memories
As solace for your grief.
I cannot promise she will stay
Since all from Earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there
I want the child to learn.
I've looked this wide world over
In my search for teacher's true,
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes,
I have selected you;
Now will you give her all your love,
Nor think the labour vain
Nor hate Me when I come to call
And take her back again?
I fancied that I heard them say,
"Dear Lord, They will be done,
For all the joy Thy child shall bring,
For the risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter her with tenderness,
We'll love her while we may,
And for the happiness we've known,
Forever grateful stay.
But should the angels call for her
Much sooner than we planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes
And try to understand."

I was priviledged to have briefly taught Kianna at Willow High School last year (during Mrs.Clark's pregnancy leave). We spent many hours after class informally chatting while she caught up on work, waited for a ride, etc..I found her to be a young woman with a big heart, and a true interest in learning, especially about life...Kianna allowed me to share, with my daughter, a paper she wrote about why she wanted to be a nurse....at the time my daughter was struggling with her first year of pre-nursing studies...Kianna's words helped inspire her to continue on. Today, she's applying to nursing schools. I feel blessed to have known Kianna and am profoundly saddened by her passing...I will forever keep her in my thoughts and prayers. "Mr.C"

To the Smith family, know that the last enemy to be destroyed was death and that Christ died on that appointed day and on that third and appointed day arose with all power in His hands, He has overcome death, Ki Ki is but alseep awaiting His breaking of the clouds again for His Bride, the challenge before each of you is to be prepared to go Home to our Father in heaven. In your quiet time read 1 Cor 15:26 and know for yourself that the last enemy has been defeated, KiKi has finished her work here earlier than you expected but as our Father saw fit. Do not be afraid yet trust and believe.

To the family of Kianna Smith
I am truly saddened by the loss of your daughter in such a tragic way to our enemy death. But you can be comforted in knowing that one day all asleep in death will come back in the ressurection to a beautiful world where there will be no death, outcry or pain. Kianna can be among those enjoying that opportunity on a paradise earth.(Revelation 21:3,4).

Kianna, even though I don’t know you...
Spiritually I do
Words can’t express how much you will be missed
Especially by your loved ones; family
and friends
We should always remember
A life thru tragedy…blatantly taken
Affects us all – in various ways
For most a deep felt pain
Even as life ended, I hope you knew
Those who personally never met you
Also loved you too!
Rest In Peace, Kianna
