AHHH our beautiful blonde suntanned Laura...Yes, the 'different' laughter's and their meanings...Laura had a variety, didn't she? But no matter what the laughter was for, the sound was contagious...it made you laugh!
The high notes, you're telling me...she definitely could hit them like no other, especially 'Loving You' by Minnie Riperton. I myself, have such great memories with Laura that I will cherish forever. I am so grateful to have them! Laura is the first 'long-time' friend which I have lost and it's been hard to grasp. Laura and I had a song between us. We always ended our letters and emails with it's initials...CSWY....'Can't Smile Without You', by Barry Manilow. It is hard to smile without her but, I CAN smile because she's with her mom, and ohhhhh what a great reunion that must have been! Makes me smile now!!!!
Paul, Paige, Matt & Morgan, you can all smile because YOU KNOW she's all around you, watching over you and listening to you always!! That's the beauty of the 'heavenly body', your wife/mom is every where, all the time!!
Now I know this site isn't meant to write books, so I'll end with a poem from a card I found. Mr. & Mrs. Rasche, Steve & Bob this is for you, it's called 'The Rose, beyond the wall'.
A Rose once grew where all could see, sheltered beside a garden wall, and, as the days passed swiftly by, it spread its branches, straight and tall.
One day, a beam of light shone through a crevice that had opened wide--The Rose bent gently toward it's warmth then passed beyond to the other side.
Now, you who deeply feel its loss, be comforted -- the Rose blooms there -- It's beauty even greater now, nurtured by God's own loving care.
God be with you all and keep you strong. I will forever be thankful for being blessed with Laura's friendship!
CSWY Laura!

My favorite thing about Laura was her laughter & smile. Although she had laughter and smiles for every mood and occasion, it usually carried a little mischief in it! I can hear it now!
We certainly had some great times together Laura, I will always treasure our memories and while our lives took separate paths, I know I was always in your heart as you were (and will always be) in mine! Your passion for life and all it had to offer is to be an example for all of us! Heaven is a brighter place because of you! Keep watch over us!

I was proud and happy to know Laura. As a teenager we was fun and loved coming over to swim in our pool. She would feed the boys in their high chairs and try to make them say her name. I loved when she tried to sing really high, it made us all laugh. Laura was such a fun loving person.
I remember her wedding day and how radiant she looked. What a beautiful couple they made.
She became a beautiful women in all ways, wife, mother, friend.
Even though I didn't see her often she was often in my thoughts and prayers.
She died so young but lead an inspirational life.
My prayers are now for her family.

Not often do friends come into your life and impact your life the way Laura did.
For those of us who have known her since grade school, we can thank her for all the great memories of carefree days and good times!
Laura was a can-do person. She always had determination, wit and a high energy level to tackle about anything that came her way.
Her greatest accomplishment is the strong, loving family she created with her husband Paul.
While we will miss her, the love she had for us will remain in our hearts forever.

Our dear Laura is now at peace but never forgotten. May some comfort and peace come to Paul, Paige, Moe, Matt and all family and friends when remembering our love for her.
She will not be forgotten!
