Mrs. Zurack was a truly special part of our family. She was like having a fill-in mother at times as she treated us like her own. I feel lucky to have had such a loving person in my life, especially at such a young age. She showed me that love and tendernes every time I saw her. You will be missed, Mrs. Zurack.

Mrs. Zurack was the Britt children's (Alec, Georgia and Dorothy) favorite baby sitter. We couldn't wait tosee her. It was so much fun seeing her the past few Christmases. She hardly changed at all. Thank you for sharing her with us.

i feel so lucky to have had mrs. zurack in my life as a young boy. in all the years she was helping my mom and dad raise the 5 of us, i cannot remember 1 time in which she did not have a smile on her face. mrs. zurack was very protective of all of us and i truly felt as though she thought of all of us as 5 of her own. looking back on this past christmas, i feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to pick her up and drop her off as we had a chance to look at some of her pictures and share memories. there is no doubt that she is in heaven. thanks to her family for letting us share this wonderful woman.

When my brother Alec, my sister Georgia, and I were little, Mrs. Zurack was our favorite babysitter. When I think back to when she would babysit for us, I see her always smiling. We felt that she really enjoyed being with us. I was so happy to see her on Christmas Eve, and to show her my own children. I would like to thank Mrs. Zurack's family for sharing her with our family! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I have such fond memories of Mrs. Zurack. She was a great babysitter, almost like another grandma to all 5 of we Pohrer kids. Thanks for everything you did for us Mrs. Zurack- we were lucky to have known you and have you in our lives...you'll be missed! (I am so sorry I missed you on Christmas Eve but I am glad you saw everyone else in my family then).

I don't know how we ever could have raised our five children in such a positive manner without Mrs. Zurack. She was always so loving with each and every one. It was like having a third grandmother who always had the time to be with the kids. In later years after our children were grown, she would relate stories about the kids and seemed to know them in a different and wonderful way. We loved and revered Mrs. Zurack so much that she walked down the aisle at our children's weddings as a person of honor. We are more than lucky to have had her in our lives. We love and miss her. The good thing is she is now with her 2 wonderul husbands. I guess she has a different date every night!

I was saddened to hear of the death of Lola. I have fond memories of your family on White Avenue. My mother always talked about the family in positive terms. My condolences to Rosemary and Joann.
