Mary Jean Sielfleisch

Sielfleisch, Mary Jean

(nee Vorst) passed away July 17, 2021 just shy of her 94th birthday. She was predeceased by her husband Peter Sielfleisch, Jr. and her sons Pete Sielfleisch III and David Sielfleisch.

She will be greatly missed by her three sons Mark (Lynette), Eric, Chris (Denise) and her daughter-in-law Jeanne Ann. Her true joy was doting on her eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She loved traveling, reading and was a volunteer for Meals on wheels for over forty years.

We would like to thank Solace Hospice Care and the nurses at Nazareth Living Center for all the love and support they provided for Mary Jean and the family.

Services: There will be a private family service.

There are no words that can express the lessons learned from you over the years. You have taught us that grace, humor and family is all anybody needs to live a happy life. I can only hope that we can walk in your little bitty shoes and be half the person you were.

Aunt Mary Jean was a gem. She had a great sense of humor and her laugh was the best! I´m grateful for the opportunities to spend time with Aunt Mary Jean and the memories I have of her.

"Mrs." As we called her, was our neighbor on Bellerive for forever! We all loved her dearly as well as all those 5 boys we grew up with! I will always remember her sitting at her ironing press, whistling and watching the Cardinals! Such a legacy of memories made with all her family, grands and greats. Rest In Peace Mrs. We all love you and will miss your smiling face and funny stories!

Mark, Eric, Chris, Sorry to hear about your Mom´s passing. Have many great memories living next door to the Sielfleisch family and especially your Mom and my Mom spending many hours talking at the fence.

Aunt Mary Jean was so fun to be around. She inherited the easy-going and playful personality of her Dad (or "Daddy" as she referred to him), "Pope" Henry Vorst. She was a beautiful woman. I enjoyed her stories and everything about her. She lived a lovely, long life. Rest in peace, Aunt Mary Jean. I will miss you.
