Theresa,

Although I didn't get to see Aunt Mary very often, she brightened my heart every time I did and I'll always consider her as my aunt. I know she'll be in heaven and someday we'll all meet her again!

Love,

Theresa,

Your mom had the most beautiful spirit and reminded me of my own mom in so many ways. You have her strength, her passion, and her love. She will live on in your memories that you will continue to share with Ryen and your family.

Theresa, Bill and Ryen -

Mary will remain in our hearts forever. We will all make sure that Ryen never forgets her beautiful, proud grandma who absolutely loved spoiling the heck out of her. Mary ate, breathed and slept for the three of you. The three of you made her life complete!

Only Mary could get by with taking everybody elses picture for Ryen's 2nd birthday, but not hers! She is laughing at all of us right now! God love her and may God be with you during this difficult time.

Love you dearly,
Mark, Rhonda, Charlie and Chloe Galentine

We are sad to hear the tragic news about Aunt Mary. It has been a long time since I have seen her. When I recall past memories, I always think of Aunt Mary as being really laid back and outgoing. Its funny, because she never really yelled. She would just calmly explain what we were doing wrong(and we were always doing something wrong). That always made being around her really comforting.

Theresa, our deepest sympathies.
Call us if you need anything.

Theresa,
I had the pleasure of working with your mom at Central Middle School for about 11 years. Mary was a model of professionalism and efficiency; mostly I remember her kindness, zest for life, dignity, and interesting sense of humor. I've seen pictures of you on Mary's desk; I know she was so proud of you and held you in high esteem. My prayers are with you during this time of grief. I will remember your mom always.

Theresa
It has been quite a while since I've seen you or your mother but in reading the obits the other day I remembered the good times I had with Mary while living next door to you in Florissant. We had some fun times. Mary was always a fun loving caring person. God bless you and I hope everything goes well for you.

I mostly have childhood memories of Aunt Mary. I was completely reminded of her the last time I saw Teresa. As one of Teresa's younger cousins who she hadn't seen for years, she made me feel as though we grew up together. It made me feel as though I was a grown up in the family, not just someone's kid. I always felt that warmth around Aunt Mary. She never stressed out over the tens of us kids running around (Velasco kids!).
It has been a long time since I have seen Aunt Mary, but I can still hear her voice and see her smile. That speaks volumes to me because I have an awful memory.

May God Bless Teresa and all who have been touched By Aunt Mary's graciousness. I Love and miss you all.

Mary always had such a great sense of humor. I could always joke with her and knew it would be good for a laugh. I remember when I let her go on and on about the cute fire captain, then told her he was my brother! She yelled at me then we both laughed like crazy. I will always be grateful for that lighthearted atmosphere she brought to CMS. I still have the "High five" she gave me when I left Central. All who knew her will miss her.

Theresa,
While I only had the opportunity to visit with your mom on a handful of occasions, I know I will see her in the future as your mother's spirit will always live within you. I have no doubt your personality is a direct result of her positive influence on your life.

McKenna and I are thinking about you everyday!

I had the pleasure of working with Mary at Riverview Gardens Middle School from 1990-2001. Not only was she a great secretary, she was a kind and thoughtful person with a great sense of humor. Mary was well-liked by all her knew her at RGMS.

Theresa, your mother spoke of you often as you were her pride and joy. She was so very proud you! My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I am glad I had the pleasure of meeting you. I got to see you as a wonderful Mother and Grandmother. I will never forget the time you went out of your way to bring snacks to the daycare for all Ryen's friends! Always thinking of others. May peace be with you now.

Hugs and Prayers for the family.

Such a beauty! I was always in awe at Mary's quiet sense of dignity, her caring heart, and a quick wit, released with an impish sparkle in her eyes. I'm certain she found strength and comfort from the most precious person in her life, Theresa. God bless and comfort her loved ones...and God welcome Mary Home.

Aunt Mary, this niece will always remember your wonderful smile, your unique laughter, your great cooking, your charm, your refreshing presence, and your efforts to support our childhood fun and creativity!! As I told you before, you are unforgettable!! You have brought joy to my life, and you gave me an amazing cousin who I will forever cherish and love in your memory. I am so blessed to have been a part of your family. Love always, Dena

Mary helped me through the roughest three years in my career when I started teaching at Riverview Gardens. She always found a way to bring a smile to my day, and I will forever miss hearing her yell "Mookey!" when I walked into a room. I'm so blessed I got to see her again working up at CII, where she was still the same old Mary I knew and loved from 10 years ago.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Theresa, and your family through this difficult time.

Mary Ellen has always been such a genuinely sincere person. I will cherish her memory, especially her humor. We joked about having "bird-like appetites" while pigging out and I love always being "baby doll" to her.
Theresa, I will continue to pray for you and your family.God Bless.
With love, Laura
