There's not ONE day that goes by that I do not think about my brothers. I sure do miss them and often wonder how life would be if they were still here. Until we meet again, please keep watching over us down here.
Love Always and Forever,
Your Baby Sister

This is more than a decade late, but I wanted to pass along my condolences to the family. I knew Matthew and Michael from junior high and then high school athletics in Texas. It was a lifetime ago, but many of the memories are crystal clear. They both had a confidence and grit about them that I always admired. And unlike a lot of people who just drift through life, Matthew and Michael felt intensely and weren't afraid to show it. They were real, raw and burned brightly. I had heard about Michael's tragic passing a long time back and then I came across this obituary when I was trying to see what Matthew was up to. This is not what I hoped to find, of course. I wish I could have caught up with Matthew and heard about his life. I'm at least content that I knew them both and they left an imprint on my life.

Donna, Of the few times we met many years ago, it was evident that you were an amazing parent who really cared for and protected your boys. Many of us, that were friends of your boys, knew that your house was a home, where love could be found.
Matthew, I am saddened by the news and know that you have hidden this pain for many years. I know that you and Michael are now looking down on each of us, guiding and protecting us. Peace may be found in our sorrow for your heart is now complete once again. Protect us, show us your light and never let us forget.

They are both finally in peace TOGETHER... I miss their blue eyes and stupid jokes. So much pain yet we have to know that they are in peace together. Wish you could have made it out to Colorado to say hi like you planned Matt. I will always miss both of you guys and I know life could not be complete again until you were with him.. naturally. Such a pleasure knowing and growing up with you both. I miss your smiles all the time and sarcastic come backs to absolutely nothing. Always made me smile. Nothing but so much love from the community that watched you grow up... Love you both forever!

Matthew's final wishes were completed, I know that because I was there, as I've always been there. I know that both of my boys were loved and adored, and they always knew that they were loved by me. I loved them unconditionally. I was 20 years old, and no place to live and no family help and I made sure that they were always protected. I refused to let anyone hurt them. .
So yes, Matthew my dear son, I love you with all my heart and soul, and that never changed. My heart is completely broken that you are gone, but I also know you are at peace, and with your brother.
Matthew give your brother a huge hug and kiss for me....until we meet again
I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK....

Donna: I am so sorry to hear of your son's passing. You my friend, have endured way more than any parent should in a lifetime. I don't know how you can keep going on - but they say god will give you the strength. My heart breaks for you. You will be in my prayers

Never once did you have to wonder if I loved and adored the two of you. I was your mom 24/7
so yes Matthew, you were loved with all my heart and soul, as was your brother. Your wishes did come to light. I'm beyond devastated with your loss, and I will live with the emptiness for the rest of my life. Until we meet again Matthew, I love you and always will.

Donna and Tom, you have our deepest sympathy. What a shock! I will never forget Matt and his sense of humor and lively spirit. I know how hard he took Michael's death but may they now be reunited. Praying for all of you.

The Calloway brothers were so highly loved by my son-in-law that his son's middle name is Michael. Matthew visited with Kevin's family and met both little boys. Our hearts are holding your family in prayers and love. May God guide you and help you at this time in your life. Blessings! Kathy Becker
