Each box carried a dedication sheet that includes the name, service information and a photo of your loved one, Matthew H. Walker US Army Private 1st Class. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. My name is Bradley Prescott, I am a senior at Winfield High School in Winfield Al. I play football and baseball at my school where we are currently about to host the first round of state playoffs. I wanted to thank your family and Matthew H. Walker for the sacrifice he has made for our country to allow me to go to school and play sports. I am deeply for your loss. He is a hero and will be a hero to this country forever.

I am a senior in high school. In a project we are doing, we researched a fallen soldier. I happened upon the obituary of Matthew Walker. It's terrible that he and others like him had to make the ultimate sacrifice. I am extremely grateful for these sacrifices, as they help keep our great country safe.

I plan to go to college at Mississippi State University and major in AG Information Science and pursue in a job as a Soil Conservationist. As of right now i spend most of my time playing sports. I play football and baseball. Our teams excel greatly in Athletics. We have always been successful. My main reason for this message was to express my thoughts for the family. I can't thank Army Pfc. I just want to send my condolences to Matt's family and friends. My little brother, Shane Bradley, knew Matt from the recruiting office and i believe attended bootcamp with him.
Thank you, Matt, for your service and giving your life so that we at home may rest at night.
