I just learned of your passing, however I know that you received the letter I sent just before the seventh anniversary of your transplant. I didn't know Megan, but until I heard her story I didnt know what to say! But then I started following Nathan on ig and saw all the beautiful things people had to say about Megan. And then I just knew what an inspiration she was to the world. I'm so sorry for your loss but I know she is In heaven with the Lord, looking over you and you beautiful baby girl Eilee!!

OMG!!! I'm truly sorry for the lost of a beautiful mother after giving birth to her baby girl..my heart cries out to the entire family especially the husband and the beautiful baby she brought in this world. Even though Megan is in heaven, she is looking down and smiling. God doesn't make mistakes. God will turn your tears into JOY and that's truly what He had down when the baby was born. She was a heart and soul delight, her Ritz family shed hopeful tears when she was sick, tears of joy when she was saved, and will now shed tears of sorrow for the life we lost as well as tears of joy for her baby she brought into the world and the many others she selflessly helped so the may carry on her wonderful spirit!

We live in an imperfect world in many ways; not because God is absent--He isn't--but because we must endure sorrows until we are together again in a perfect realm, warmed by The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I am so heartbroken. I met Megan because I had the same thing happen to my heart. At age 39, I had a virus attack my heart and went into congestive heart failure and at one time had less than 5% heart function and was told I would need a transplant. I am a 16 year survivor now and have not had a transplant. I witnessed Megan's miracle. I prayed so hard for her. I stayed up all night and prayed the night her heart came and I was so excited to see she got a heart when I got up the next morning. I have watched her beautiful story unfold and was so happy things were going so well for her. I was so excited for her and Nathan when she announced her pregnancy. I am simply at a loss for words. It's so hard when you don't understand why. I ask God that all the time and it's something will will probably never understand until one day we stand before our Savior and are reunited with those we love. Megan touched so many lives and she will continue to do so even now. Your entire family is in my prayers. I will be wearing my red on Sunday to honor Megan and Go Red for Women. A cause that was a passion for both of us. Again, I am so sorry for your loss and you are in my prayers.
