Sunday, September 10, 2023. Beloved husband of Margaret Oelze, (nee Houlihan) and the late Avalone Oelze (nee Borgwald). Dear father of Kurt (Debbie) and Cheryl Oelze. Dear grandfather of Kristen Oelze, Kevin (Kyrie) Oelze, Kelsey Oelze and Jake Calvert. Our dear uncle cousin and friend.
Services: Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois, Thursday, September 14, 4-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Johns UCC (11333 St. John Church Rd, St. Louis MO 63123) on Friday, September 15, at 10 a.m. Interment St. Johns UCC Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, appreciated.

Dear Cheryl,
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad passing. Mr Oelze, as I always called him, was so kind when we were growing up and playing on Round Hill, Rossmoor and Bohrer Park. Just saw his obit after the funeral and know how much you are going to miss him. I always think of you and your parents when I pass the house.
May your grief and sorrow be replaced by wonderful memories. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
