Mike was always incredibly outgoing and fun to be around. He made sure I was always welcome when visiting my sister with my two kids who were close in age to his. He went above and beyond to make sure a good time was had by all. This always included some incredible meals that he would cook. When I started dating after my divorce he was equally as welcoming to my now husband, Tom. No matter whether we were at his home near St. Louis or on the farm where I grew up Mike fit right in. There was an abundance of stories and activity that brought smiles and laughter to all those around him. These happy memories will not be forgotten.

My sincere condolences to the Parents, Son, Daughter, Fiancee, extended Family, Friends & fellow Officers of Michael Langsdorf.
My heart aches deeply for all of you.

My Brother was a Police Sergeant, in charge of his Dept. Explorer Post for over 34 years. He was a member of the Patriot Guard, the Blue Knights and and a Marine (Semper Fi) that lost his life 1-1/2 years ago. My Brother was loved by so many just like Michael. I bet my Brother may have met or even knew Michael. My Brother knew so many Police Officers in every dept.
My Brother will be waiting for Michael, one of his own. Michael will not be alone.
Michael was a hero and will always be a hero in so many hearts. Keep all your memories of Michael tucked away in your heart & they will always be with you.
In those times of sadness and there will be many, just talk to Michael. he will be listening & watching over all of you, especially his kids.

May Michael Rest in Peace.
Thank you Michael for all that you have done and all the protection you gave to others.

Michael Langsdorf and my younger brother, Mike attended high school together and played soccer. When my mom passed away in 2015, Mike reached out to my husband (also a city officer) to express his condolences (such a true class act). Even though I never met Mike you can tell he has left a huge void in this earth. I will continue to keep his family and children in my prayers. RIP and fly high

If we could bring you back again,
For one more hour or day,
We'd express all our unspoken gratitude;
We'd have countless things to say.

If we could bring you back again,
We'd say we treasured you,
And that your presence in our lives
Meant more than we ever knew.

If we could bring you back again,
To tell you what we should,
You'd know how much we miss you now,
And if we could, we would.
