You were such a great friend from elementary through highschool, in band, classes and hanging out at your house eating oreos. I'm so sad that I lost touch in these last few years and I'll never see you again to make up for it, hear your Harry Carry impression or the spontaneous funny things that only you could come up with. It was too soon. I'm only reassured knowing you lived your life to the fullest following your dreams. Goodbye Casey, my condolences to your family and everyone else that loved you.-Dan

As a former Teammate and then as an Official I had the pleasure of seeing his positive personality on a regular basis. He was soft spoken, full of praise for those around him and a true Gentleman. The St. Louis cycling scene has suffered a huge loss but is better for the time he was among us. Godspeed Casey.

Great people are few and far between. Casey is a great person. I will miss seeing his smiles, hearing him laugh and watching him fly on his bike. I'm glad I got to work with and know him for all the years we shared at Big Shark. He will be missed and never forgotten.

We are so very sorry about the huge sudden loss of Casey. I never knew Casey to be anything but genuine and sweet and kind and always with a smile . Matt really admired and respected Casey also as a humble and strong and respectful racer with "mad skills" when racing . Casey was a prime example of love and integrity and we loved watching him race . He was heartfelt . Our love and prayers go out to family and friends of Casey and wish you continued peace and for strength during this time and days ahead . May God bless Casey and may God bless your family and friends with courage and strength and serenity . All our love,Mary and Matt LaBerta❤❤
