Moran, Olivette (nee Kissel) Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Monday, July 28, 2014. Dear wife of the late Richard F. Moran; beloved mother of Sharon J. and Richard F. Moran, Jr.; loving grandmother of Elizabeth S. Moran and her husband James McSpadden; dear friend of Mary Whealon. Ollie was the devoted daughter of the late Aloys and Lauretta Kissel, and the loving younger sister of the late Hubert Kissel. She is survived by her dear sister-in-law Dorothy Westhoff Kissel and many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors who brought great joy to her. She loved playing bridge, entertaining her bridge clubs in her home, and spending time with these wonderful friends. Olivette loved gardening and activities with her dear friends in the garden club. She was a talented cook and seamstress, and enjoyed many needle arts, including good-natured needling of her daughter and son. She was a devoted fan of the Cardinals, especially of Yadi, as well as an energetic and astute woman, who remained tirelessly active well into her eighties. The family wishes to thank the wonderful caregivers in The Gardens at Meramec Bluffs, who provided Mom with loving support and care for the last ten months, during which she enjoyed the activities with her new friends. Services: Services will begin for Olivette on Saturday, 9:15 am at STYGAR FLORISSANT CHAPEL, 13980 New Halls Ferry Rd. then proceed to Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church for a 10 am Mass. Interment Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, which offers person-to-person service to the needy and suffering (100 N.
