Pamela McNeely Obituary

McNeely, Pamela Ann passed away on December 10, 2015 in Overland Park, Kansas at age 70. Pam was born on April 9, 1945, St. Louis, Missouri to James A. and Dorothy H. McNeely. She graduated from Hazelwood High School in 1963. She lived in St. Louis her whole life until recently moving to Kansas City. She was a lifelong dancer and took lessons from childhood on. She owned the Saltbox School of Dance teaching jazz, tap and ballet to all ages of children and adults. She had many hobbies including painting, gardening, all sorts of crafts, and photography. She also loved the Japanese culture and collected Japanese furniture, decorations and clothes. She sang with the Niji Japanese Choral Group for many years including performances at the Missouri Botanical Garden during the Japanese festivals. Dear sister of Denny McNeely, his wife Barb; aunt of Cara (Brook) Meissner, Jon David Heidbrier; greataunt of Selah, Beckett and Jace; niece of Wally and Ella Lahm; cousin of Sandy, Debbie, Phil, Libby, Kenny, Leslie, Charlie, Jim, Tammy, Lenny and Karolyn. Services: A memorial service will be held at Mary, Mother of the Church, 5901 Kerth Road, St. Louis, MO 63128 at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 16. In lieu of flowers the family requests that gifts be made to the Missouri Botanical Garden.
