Walsh, Pauline Powers "Polly"
Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church; Tuesday, June 14, 2022.
Beloved wife of the late John M. Walsh; dear mother of John P. (Mary) and Maureen (Jim) Herrmann; cherished grandmother of John, Molly (Dave) Henroid, Bridget Walsh (Greg) Moore, Kevin (Eileen Fagan - affianced), Kate and Peter Herrmann. Dear sister of the late Francis Kenneth and Rex Joseph Powers; sister-in-law of Margie Baxendale, the late Frank D. Baxendale, the late James K. and Thomas F. Walsh. Proud great-grandmother of Finnian Walsh Moore; dear aunt, cousin, neighbor, and friend of many.
Polly grew up on the Powers family farm in Rockwell City, IA. and never lost her affinity for the land of her birth. She was immensely proud of her role as the first President of the St. Louis U. High Alumni Mothers' Club. Polly served the Fashion Group International of St. Louis as Regional Director and numerous other positions.
Masses or contributions to the SLUH Scholarship Fund or Alumni Mothers' Club, Marian Middle School are greatly appreciated.
Services: Visitation: Bopp Chapel June 19, 2022, 4:00-8:00 p.m.
Funeral: Mary, Queen of Peace June 20, 2022, 10:00 a.m.

So sorry to hear about Polly, I worked with her for many years, Polly was a beautiful woman and a pleasure to be around..my deepest condolences.

I was next door to John and Polly from about 1984-1990 and will always remember John´s booming laugh and Polly´s busy schedule-tennis, fashion shows, and friends. She was a gracious and lovely woman. Hoping you find comfort in knowing she was loved by many outside your family.
