Peggy Metroff Obituary

Metroff, Peggy (Margaret) Mitchell 60, of Ballwin, MO, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2018 in her home surrounded by family after a battle with cancer. Peg was born on July 1st, 1957 to Elizabeth (Bixie) Baker. Peg is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Bill Metroff, her daughter Niki Pratt and husband Mike, her daughter Jessie Weidman and husband Steven, her son Billy Metroff, and her two beautiful granddaughters Lux Metroff and Emma Pratt. Her extended family includes her brother Bill Baker and wife Judy, her brother Scott Baker and wife Wana, her twin brother Pete Baker and wife Nancy, her sister Lynn Godina and husband Terry, her brother-in-law Ken Metroff and wife Barb, her brother-in-law Dan Metroff and wife Dianna, and all of her loving nieces and nephews.

In addition, she has positively impacted the lives of countless students during her 20+ years of teaching. Peg had a true passion for fitness and teaching, but loved spending time with her family and friends. In her spare time, she loved nothing more than an RV ride with her soul mate, Bill, playing with her granddaughters or a day sitting by the pool with family and friends. She was always the life of the party and filled every room with joy with her contagious smile and positive attitude. In lieu of flowers, please do a random act of kindness to make our world a better place. Donations can also be made to Good Shepherd Church, where she most recently taught as a preschool teacher, via check payable to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at 327 Woods Mill Rd. Ballwin, MO 63011.

Peggy was a very sweet and happy lady. I had a class at club fitness with her. Always funny and friendly. So sorry to hear this, may she now rest in peace not have to fight that horific decease. Praying for family she left behind.

She was a high school classmate and a pleasure to know. Peg had a passion for living and was a great "Spirit" for the IVC Grey Ghosts during those high school years. Several classmates have reflected and exchanged fond memories of Peggy's impact back then. She is highly regarded and will be thought of often.
