Phil's passing (and more recently, my Grandmother) has brought home to me how precious life truly is. I will be on the road and hear a certain song on the radio and it refreshes the memories I have of him. The greatest legacy we can leave is the positive connections with the people around us. Life can be difficult and Lord knows, can get me down. But it can all be over in an instant. I pray the loss of people like Phil will not make me bitter, but open me to touch more lives with a positive spirit and continue to create the connections that give meaning and value to our existance.

We all will certainly miss Phil! As a close friend to his daughter, Lauren, I loved to hear all of his great (and sometimes entirely random) stories about Lauren as a kid. He really loved his family so much, and will certainly be missed!

Phil and his family have been part of my life for almost as long as I can remember. His love of hockey and music was infectious. Phil always had a welcome smile and a good story when I stopped by. He was a wonderful man who will truly be missed.

I can't believe he's gone so soon. I will miss him terribly. I never did get over not being named Wahoo Queen! Ha! He had a great sense of humor and always made me laugh.

Phil was a very dear and close friend of my wife's family. She has many fond memories of their family activities with the Goslings. He will be missed dearly.

Phil always had a great love of life and a sense of humor. He was always ready to defend his views of the arts, such as music and movies. My best memories are sitting out on the parade ground on a sunny day, eating lunch, laughing and arguing about the our views of the world. I will greatly miss him, never imagining he would leave us so soon. I can see Phil, upstairs with the Almighty, organizing a golf league, Wahoo tournament and a hockey league and playing practical jokes on his new neighbors.
