Passed away on March 8, 2025. He was born in Ferguson, MO, and a resident of Florissant, MO, and Huntsville, AL.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nancy Becker, and his daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Brent Phillips; his grandchildren: Joseph Ford, Tara Hampton (Joe) DiMercurio, Michael Weaver, Tyler (Gretchen) Phillips, Delaney Phillips, and Natalie Phillips; great granddaughter, Desiree Overstreet; and brother, Henry (Nancee) Becker. He was a beloved brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.
Mr. Becker was preceded in death by his parents, August and Lena Becker; brother Donald Becker; sister Sharon Hagan; son, Raymond (Rod) Becker and daughter, Renay (Bambi) Weaver.
He retired after 24 years with the St. Louis Post Dispatch.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Hutchens Funeral Home, 675 Graham Rd., Florissant, MO. Visitation 10:00, Service 11:00.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Intervarsity Christian Fellowship.

He was a great brother-in-law and loved his family very much. And he was loved in return. Ray had a great heart and a terrific sense of humor. He always laughed with you! I love you, Ray. And I won´t forget you!
