Jim, I am very sorry for your loss. I know you have many wonderful memories of your dad, and I hope they bring you comfort in the days and months ahead. I am sad that this country has lost another of its many heroes from the World War II era, but I am glad that you and he had an opportunity to take the honor flight.

Remembering fondly when Judy and Jim and me and my cousin Norma went to school together at Hope Lutheran School. It was to your house we went that day my own Dad went to heaven until my mother and aunt came with the news. May you know the same warmth and comfort you gave me and feel God's presence and strength all around you.
