Walsh, Richard Bennett

peacefully passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021. Beloved husband of Janet Walsh (nee Colby) for almost 69 years; dear Father of Janet (Bob) Aquadro, Margaret Walsh and Richard (Tammy) Walsh; cherished Grandpa of Shea Cuthbertson, Will (Randi)

Cuthbertson, Bennett (Joy) Walsh, Andrew Walsh (Natalie Swain) and Lexi Walsh, and Great-Grandpa of Emersyn and Ryleigh Cuthbertson.

Born in 1925 in Oyster Bay, New York, Dick enlisted in the Navy in 1942, serving as a Navy pilot. After graduating from Brown University, he spent his business career in marketing, working in New York, Michigan, Ohio, New Hampshire and St. Louis. He loved spending time with his family, his beloved Labrador retrievers, all pets, reading, watching all sports, especially Cardinals baseball and Blues hockey.

Services: Private Memorial Service and burial. Donations may be made to Open Door Animal Sanctuary, P.O. Box 870, House Springs, MO 63051.
