on Monday, December 14, 2020. Beloved husband of 70 years to Alma L. Bokern (nee Cochran). Dear father of Robin (Fred) Max and Robert (Teri) Bokern, Jr. Dear brother of Nancy Preston of Los Angeles, the late John Bokern, and the late Richard Bokern.
A real estate executive for many years in St. Louis and co-owner of the Bokern Realty Company with his twin brother John Bokern. The company was founded by their grandfather in 1889. Mr. Bokern was a past President of the Executives Association of St. Louis. He was born and reared in St. Louis. After serving in the Navy in World War II, he earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He worked in the real estate business from 1949 until he retired in the early 1990's. He was a member of Greenbriar Hills Country Club for 47 years and recorded three holes-in one in his lifetime.
